The generous rainfall unleashed this week was terrific! The garden and plants are soaked and our early Sonoma County spring is unfolding with bursts of energy. These beautiful red Quince blossoms have arrived just in time to highlight a colorful Valentine’s celebration.

Purple Saucer Magnolia blossoms. It was cool and overcast in Sonoma County today. The rainfall last night and carryover this morning was a welcome sight, much needed and greatly appreciated!

Happy February! In addition to the colorful camellia bushes dotting our Sonoma County landscape, the next wave of early spring blossoms include white Star Magnolia Stelleta trees and flowers.
